Results & Ofsted
ofsted
Hatcham College underwent its last Ofsted inspection in February 2019.
The inspectors classed the all-through school (Primary to Secondary) as 'Good' and the Early Years provision as 'Outstanding'. Hatcham Temple Grove disaggregated from Hatcham College in September 2019 and therefore will have its own Ofsted report from this point forward.
Highlights from the report include:
Provision in the early years is outstanding. The outside area has been transformed, and children engage happily and enthusiastically in learning and play. They make excellent progress in many areas of learning.
Pupils behave well around the school and in lessons. The school’s inclusive ethos enriches pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
Hatcham Temple Grove EXAMINATION RESULTS
The way that schools are required to report their results changed in 2016.
There have also been changes to the National Curriculum and to the exams, tests and assessments that children are required to sit. Due to all those changes the measures reported below are not comparable with those published before 2016. The Department for Education has published some information to explain these new measures which is available from the school performance tables web site.

It was another unusual year, among the radical measures taken by the UK Government to manage the outbreak of Covid19 in 2021, all statutory end of Key Stage Primary assessments and performance tables were cancelled again for the second time. Haberdashers’ Trust opted into a service provided by FFT Aspire for EYFS and KS2.
The FFT service used fine-levelled Teacher Assessment grades to create national benchmarks and estimate performance of different schools and pupil groups.
Below you can find the last performance measures from 2018-19 (please note these are not current), as well as the teacher-assessed results for 2020-2021.
